I don’t have a new photo for you today, but this is the 500th post on the site. That has to count for something, right?
If you want something to do, tell us your favorite (or least unfavorite) part of having a website for our family.

My favorite part of having this website is EVERYTHING! It’s so nice to have birthdays pop up for us to see. I have learned so much about the Sommerer family’s past from older sibling’s contributions either through letters, stories or comments. I would love to hear MORE from the nieces and nephews, however. Their point of view and thoughts would be so nice to have. Happy 500th Post Day you good old Sommerer Family Website!!
I look forward to this site in hopes of hearing something from or about the family. I like Naomi, wish more people in the second generation would add more. I would like to hear more stories from Peter. Peter spent a lot of time with Grandpa and Grandma. I remember when he was a young man , he would bring them loads of firewood. wasn’t that nice. he was a dear child.
I got 2 Christmas cards back from addresses I got off the address book. The address book is my favorite tool. We did a good effort to bring it up to snuff. So 2 out of 50 is not bad. Kristen (be babies daughter) and Johnny, a are the two that need updating so far. If anyone can provide would appreciate.
Oh, yeah, sure….auto correct..isn’t it nice we have that now to blame? Hee Hee! I always use that as my excuse too, for fingers that hit the wrong keys. Julie, did you retire from Scholastic? If so, when? Are you now going to be taking care of your grandsons? Tell us more.
I love the family web site. I wish more of our family would join in and let us hear their memories. We would all love that! Happy birthday Lloyd Jr. I love you ! Merry Christmas everyone! Happy birthday Jesus!!!

We agree the web site is terrific! Somehow we missed that TODAY is Kathy Jane’s birthday. Unless Mahlon’s calendar lies…happy birthday Kathy.

I took a severance package. So at the end of the severance period ( about 15 months) my status will then iofficially be retired. And it was the 20th.
