The grove of plum trees up in the far left. is where Naomi,Lloyd, and I built our Lark Park. There we conducted county fairs, and 4-H demonstrations. The small building was where we played house before it became the big chickens house. I can’t figure out why Naomi is feeding the chickens so far down the hill. What a wonderful memory.
I am having trouble figuring out what those things are just right of the plum trees and the chicken house. It looks like there was another little shed and a fence. What do you suppose was inside the fence. There is something else there that I can’t figure out . I guess the trees were the Walnut tree and the persimmon tree over where we made molasses. Was this a 4-H project Naomi? I mean the chickens? By going half way down the hill it helped to get a good of background
That is a little shed that mother had her maybe (ducks, geese, or turkeys) in? I can’t remember what was kept in there but I remember the shed. I can’t figure out what that fenced in area is. All that was there was two crab apple trees and the old molasses mill.
All I know about the pic is that I would “kill” to look that thin again. I just got back from the Panama Cruise and am having fun reading all the Sommerer Family Website news that I missed out on the last 11 days.
