Aunt Bea went to be with her savior this morning around 3:30am. We will all miss her so much.

The visitation and the funeral will be this Saturday, July 18th at Faith Lutheran Church in Jefferson City (2027 Industrial Drive). Visitation will be from 12-1pm and the service will follow from 1-2pm. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery on West Main Street and afterwards there will be refreshments aback at the church.
The family suggests that memorials be given to Calvary Lutheran School in Jefferson City. That’s the still in my mind new high school where a fair number of our cousins have attended.
You can read Aunt Bea’s obituary here. There are also maps to the Church and Cemetery. Aunt Bea was 90 years old this year.
As our aunts and uncles slowly make their way to Heaven, i want to say – and I hope i am saying the sentiment of all my first cousins – THANK YOU! Thank you to Aunt Marjorie, Uncle Vernon, Aunt Cleopha, Aunt Lolly, Uncle Ralph, Uncle Lloyd, Aunt Jane, Aunt Naomi, Uncle Louie for being loving examples for all of us – as has always been the same for your brothers and sisters and their spouses. This isn’t said enough how much we appreciate and love you! Thank you!
I recently got a letter from Heit’s Point concerning the new roof. I sent a check for what I would have spent there for the family reunion. That money was already allocated for that purpose. I would encourage others to do this, if they can. We enjoy the comforts of Heit’s Point and want to continue to do so. Thanks and LOL – that’s lots of love to us computer gurus.
This is an excellent idea Peter. We will do that also.
Just wondering if anyone knows who painted that beautiful portrait of Aunt Bea in the collection of photos.
