Aunt Lolly says
Christina, We will be arriving on Friday, and will stay for two nights at the Spitz center. The same room we had last year would be great! I don’t remember what the room number was. There will be the two of us for all meals except the Sat. noon meal. Thank you for all the work you do for us. Aunt Lolly
Naomi Vetter says
Christina, I’d better put the info here (I didn’t see this until Lloyd called it to my attention). Louie and Naomi will arrive Friday and need a room in Spitz for Friday and Saturday nights. Please make it a room with a bed and a fold out couch. It can be either up or downstairs. Louie and I will be taking part in: Friday evening meal, Saturday breakfast and evening meal and Sunday breakfast. We will have lunch with the elders on Saturday as Vernon’s guests. Beatrice asked me to make this reservation for her. She would like either the 1st or second room (close to the office) and this will be for Saturday night only. She will attend the lunch that Vernon is providing on Saturday at noon. The other meals she will let you know later.
Jane says
Lloyd and I will need a room Fri and Sat eat all meals Fri and Sat and Breakfast Sun. Last years room worked well. I have to find out if one of you kids want the extra bed.
Mary Jane Piazza says
Somm-Fun ideas to share– Vernon would like to invite siblings + spouses (Bea and Margie can bring a child/attendant/significant other)to lunch on Saturday at Spitz. Kathy will reserve with Heits. RSVP/email/call Kathy by June 18 to give her plenty of time.
ALSO! In addition to sibling drug testing, I am proposing Cousin Counseling! Ever played Apples to Apples? This would be Sommerer to Sommerer! (Thank you for that, Christina) 10 can play together at a time. Perhaps Friday or Saturday night at the Pavilion? Simple, thoughtful, inclusive, non-compeditive. Weigh in if you’d like to do it — or need it!
Lloyd Jr. says
I put the information about about Uncle Vernon buying his brothers and sisters lunch on the meal page.
What day would you like the Apples to Apples game added to the schedule?
pete says
Sounds like a fun game Mary Jane
Joni says
I don’t know if I’m supposed to provide lodging request yet, or wait till May 1, but here goes. If available, Dave and I would like to have Mel and Doug as our guests in a Spitz room (lower level near parking lot, room 206 maybe?) Their kids and mine in Blunkhouse B again. If no rooms available at the Spitz, then both of our families will take Blunkhouse B if available. Not sure of our young adult-children’s summer work schedules, but our best guess is Katie, Anthony, Vincent, Joseph, plus two kids who are still free at HP, John and Leah. So 10 people for all meals. Two months out it’s hard to know for sure, but will update numbers closer to June 20 if this changes. Thanks so much.
Christina Rowland says
Joni,
Unfortunately (or possibly fortunately, depending on how you look at it) you are not old enough to get exactly what you want. The two downstairs rooms with queen beds and sofa sleepers were already claimed. However, I have put you into the last available queen bed/sofa sleeper room upstairs. You may be able to change with Uncle Vernon depending on if Wanda will be able to join us, but for now, you are upstairs. If you were only older, you could have first dibs (well if David were older, and let’s face it, he’s still just a kid!).
Joni says
Hey Tina – Since it’s officially May 1, and since lower-level room #200 is still open, any chance we could switch to that? Even though Leah is “free” no matter where she sleeps, having the sofa there would help accommodate that if she decides to stay with the grownups. And us 50-something people would do better on the bunks than the pull out sofa, all other things being equal. haha. Thank you for dealing gracefully with all of our quirks and requests. God bless.
Joni says
And I forgot to say we’d all arrive Friday!
Christina Rowland says
Yes, I will make the change tonight when I get home.
Joni says
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH TINA!!!! 🙂
Mahlon says
Mahlon and Marylynn will be arriving on Thursday and leaving on Sunday. We will need a room for Thurs, Fri, Sat nights. 300 or 302 would be fine.
We’ll be eating all three meals Fri, breakfast and dinner Sat, breakfast Sunday.
We will accept Vernon’s invitation for lunch on Sat.
Naomi Vetter says

pete says
Christina we will take the last room at the Blunk House and one in the Gospel house as we will have extra people this yr….Everyone that is staying is arriving on Friday to my knowledge. Soooo Friday we will have 12 adults and 7 kids. Possibly4 more adults on Saturday night. Not sure yet who all is staying on Saturday night but I have a for sure count for Friday night.
Christina Rowland says
Pete,
Do you have a preference on the gospel house for which room?
Pete says
we have always had the one in the back on the left Tina…could we get that one please. It will be for four adults and a bunch of kids under age limit. I am thinking they will stay on fri and sat. They will also be there for all meals.
pete says
So all of the adults and children will be eating Fri night (is that still on your own) Saturday morn, lunch sat. and saturday night. I will have to let you know later as to how many will be staying sat. night and eating breakfast on Sun. Hope this is all you need.
