She sure wrote good letters. I remember going to grandma’s house and everybody reading the most recent letters from the aunts and uncles who lived far away. She even would call people and read them over the phone. I just got back from a trip to Little Rock to visit Greers mother and sister and I could relate to the beautiful redbud and dogwood trees blooming along the road! She wrote it in April.

We always looked forward to our siblings letters. Naomi and I would walk to the mail box as little children, and bring back the treasured letter (if we were lucky) We gathered around Mother and listened while she would read the letters out loud. It was always such a relief to get one from the brother’s who were in the service. because that ment that they were still alive up to the time the letter was posted. PTL I worried more about Lillian then all the rest of them, because her letters were always full of her sicknesses and all the doctors she went too. I grew up fearing for her life. I loved her so much. Her good doctors kept her alive for a long time. To all our family, we wish a very happy and blessed Easter. We love you..
