Yes it was in 1951, I was 16 yeaars old, Lolly was 13, Naomi was 10, and Lloyd 8. When we finished taking this picture we all went to Jefferson City to The Hammond studio on Madison Street and had a family picture taken
Huh, I don’t remember seeing it either. But I’m pretty sure that if I asked dad he’d say, “It’s in a box in the front closet. And don’t you go puttin’ that on the Internet. I don’t want old Al Gore to have a copy.”
We are standing in front of the Willow tree. I used to have to get switches off that tree when I was punished. I always got the smallest ones I could find. I don’t think Mother minded…it was the principle of the thing…
