At first I thought I was looking east from Lloyd and Janes back porch. Then It occurred to me that I might be looking Directly North toward the Callahan farm. Either way the land is a hill going down toward a creek, which we cant see. What happened to all the cedar trees? there is only one cedar. What is that thing at the left of the cedar tree that looks like a black X. I also think I see something that has a round top like a top of a small haystack. I am wondering if that is the location where the wood silo was built. Can you believe it? One cedar tree on the whole farm. I need to walk the farm again this spring.
I think the cedar tree is in the ditch between the tobacco field and the potato patch. Looking from Lloyd’s porch the tree is in line with Callahan’s house.
They are my sister, Christina’s photos. I told her that I would only look at them if she put them on the website. I guess she showed me. I looked at all of them twice.
We had church last night here in IL. Foot of snow and services cancelled this morning… The strange plant incased in icy chicken wire has me thinking that Uncle Lloyd should plant one last year of tobacco and everyone come put it up… or better with changes in CO law maybe a crop of canubis!? I guess the dire fears of smoking and lung cancer don’t apply to marijuana! Wish I could take you a picture of our pretty snow. Enjoy this last day of Christmas and our Savior’s 12 Day Birthday… Thank you, Jesus!
So far at 3:00 pm in Jefferson City, we have about 7 – 8 inches, with snow still coming down. Maybe we’ll get a foot also. The Persimmon seeds did not lie this year.

They were taken with my Canon, not a phone.
You should ask Uncle Lloyd to have another barn party this spring when his hay is gone….but ask him to have it on a warmer day!

We spent at least one high school break cutting down all the cedar trees, I think we only got to stop because we broke all my dad’s axes!

I liked your pictures. Enjoyed each of you being home, especially having all of you together in church with us.
