I can only think of 2 times that someone in our family lived on Dunklin Street. The only person who lived on E Dunklin street was Elizabeth and Justin before they moved to Washington D C around 1940… The other time I am thinking about is when our grandpaw and Granddma (mothers mom and dad) moved to Jefferson City to take care of his sponsor and uncle ?? Meisel who lived on Dunklin Street about in the location of the Bank. I dont remember what the bank is called today , It was part of the Exchange Natinal bank when it was build. It was across the street from the school which is still there but is not a school. The school was where he worked and he live across the street can cared for ? meisel and his wife until they died. I understand that this was a agreement they had. I think that this location is about the 100 block ow West Dunklin now.
