Uncle Lloyd and Aunt Cleo brought their families out to the Mary’s Home Picnic on Sunday, Sept 4th. We had a good time talking before we had dinner. Scott was down for a week’s visit with Julie and Greer and we really enjoyed seeing him.
Andrew, Paul, Declan, Aaron, Scott, Shawn, Uncle Lloyd, Aunt Cleo, Greer, Julie, Aunt Cleo’s friend, and Jimmy – Jimmy isn’t actually part of our family…..he just sat down at our table to eat his to-go meal before he had to start working.
Mom (Aunt Jane) & I were there as well. Mom & Aunt Bea were off looking at quilts when we took the picture above.
Aunt Bea helped Declan stay entertained while we waited for our numbers to be called. They were playing with Declan’s goo. When Declan was ready to go play at the playground he asked his grandma if she would stay and play with Aunt Bea! LOL!
Aaron’s birthday was Monday, Sept 5th so we got the serving girls to sing him “Happy Birthday” they did a great job!
I hadn’t been to the Mary’s Home Picnic since I was in high school, but would definitely recommend it to everyone! We had a terrific meal and plenty of chicken legs!

I was going to go to the picnic too, but Sunday morning I had two flat tires on the passenger side of my tire. I spent the afternoon at Wal-mart getting them fixed. Each tire had a 2-inch tap screw. I must have run over a box of them sometime on Saturday. It was good to visit with Scott on Friday at the “sister’s meeting.”

Cleo sent me this video that she rec’d from Linda Williams. Copy/paste it to your http. It is worth watching. Watch all the way to the end because it starts out kinda slow, and turn your sound up. http://www.youtube.com/v/QZFkZiwMLZ4

Oh, I guess you don’t have to copy/paste it. I didn’t know it would come on if you just clicked on the blue link.
