I don’t know if you noticed, but Julie Baker uploaded a great bunch of photos a day or so ago. You can use the little flickr widget in the sidebar to see them, or click on the image below.
Anyone can add photos to flickr. Just create an account and upload your photos. If you want them to appear on our family website, you have to make them public and tag it with the tag “sommererfamilywebsite”. There’s more information on how to do that on the help page at the top of the website.
I’ll probably pull some of these off for future posts, but I wanted to make sure everyone noticed them. Way to go Julie!

My mom offered them to me to scan for the website. I buckled down and learned how to use the scanner. Then found instructions on how to upload them to the site! I am glad it worked! This was just from 2 of her photo albums….she’s got more!

In image 034, I had forgotten that Daddy ever wore that kind of hat. Julie, thanks for these wonderful memories!

I love the cousin pictures. If we are wondering how old someone is , we can look at the pictures and see where they fit into the scheme of things,so to speak. On the picture of the cousins who were down by the first waterfall building a bridge is our cousin Kenny. I believe that this was when he first came home from the service. I don’t think he helped build the bridge but I am glad we got him on this picture. Previously we have talked about the locust tree in the south part of the barnyard, now we have a good picture of it. It is behind father as he stands beside my car ( I think)
