Easter Video 1969

September 6, 1970 by Lloyd Jr. 8 Comments

Lloyd Sommerer, Sr. took this video. The original was transfered to VHS in about 1999, and this copy is from that, so the quality isn’t all that great, but it’s still fun to look at. I might have the year wrong, let me know if I do.

What memories does this bring back for you?

    Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou
A picture is worth 1000 words and a video is worth ten thousand. Seeing those people again… brought tears to my eyes.

I love the video. Does anyone who was there that day recall any other memories they would like to share? Crawling down the silo? Where the heck are the parents?

They are exactly where they have always been….playing cards and singing! Don’t you know that grandchildren can’t get hurt on Grandma’s Farm?

Did anyone wonder where exactly the photographer was standing???? Uncle Lloyd told me that he was standing on the roof of the house! Climbing down a silo doesn’t seem so unsafe now.

Did he crawl out the upstairs window? He would never let us do that!
