I took a lot of VHS tapes from Aunt Jane & Uncle Lloyd’s basement last Christmas. I did a really good job of getting right on editing them too. I had about a dozen reasonably nice videos done by January 6th when school started up again. Then I completely forgot about them. I’ll start adding them to the Photo Friday mix.
I didn’t include all of the footage from these. My idea was to create some fairly short videos that include just the “high lights” of each event. There is a link below the video if you want to see the larger sized version.

I enjoyed seeing this so much! It is bittersweet to see all those who are gone. Melissa and Doug are so darn cute!!!!!!!!!!!
Julie Baker says
I liked seeing grandma say “don’t do that”! Everyone looks so nice!
Lloyd Jr. says
Yeah, I had to include her saying that. I put in a lot of still frames, because it was easier to capture one good frame than 10 good seconds of film.
Mark Sommerer says
Great lookin’ group, and another excuse of my undependable ride to get out there, ugh! Gr8 Memories Aplenty All !
Steve says

Lloyd Jr. says
Yeah, that was amazing hair.
Cleopha Howard says
I didn’t know who that was with the long hair. So it is Denise Dittmer? I wonder when she cut it off?
Jane says
That was so nice to see. Memories are bitter sweet when we no longer can see those we care about. Melissa looks so pretty. Is that the dress that Tina made or am I mistaken?
Linda Ortmeyer says
Thanks so much. So fun to look and remember, and funny to see how everyone has changed and to remember those who are now with our Lord and think about the little children born of this Union. Amazing story of life.
Aunt Lolly says
Cleo that is Denise Sommerer, Danny’s wife, with the beautiful long hair! It has always been long like that until about 10 years ago when she had it cut,and sent off to have wigs made for cancer patients. That is the dress Christina made for Melissa. It is so beautiful. Melissa was a beautiful bride. What wonderful memories.
Naomi Vetter says
Wow! Christina made the dress! I’m impressed. She needs to go on the “Project Runway” show.
