Aunt Naomi sent in this picture and the enlargement below it. She sent it in a while ago after the post from Aunt Sis about grandpa Matthias’ hat. I can’t seem to find that post now to link to it, so if you find it, let me know.
Do you think that is Mother holding Felix? and the other children, Elizabeth, Bud, and Lillian? Who are the other two ladies? I never seen this picture before.
Hi All, Sam and Rachel left today to go to Iowa and when I talked to him last night they had not received a list of food to bring. I am not sure if Steve is still at home or if he is going to Branson before or after HP weekend. If anyone knows what Sam and Steve are supposed to bring please tell Lolly. She will see Sam mid week next week before they go to HP. Blessings to all.
Thank you so much to all of you who are planning food and housing reservations for all of us. It is a thankless job and we couldn’t do this weekend without you and your hard–sometimes frustrating work.
I’m in Munich now heading for Schwangau to the Cinderella castle. This photo was a negative I had made positive. It was at Moms house eons ago. It is also on the “old photo” Vhs tape I made years ago for the family.
I won’t get down there till Friday afternoon.., but we got our assignment. anybody know if we can eat at spitz if we are certain not to wake up in time for breakfast? Steve
p.s. the little girls in the old picture are cute!
This is only a guess, but Aunt Nora Erhardt married a man who first wife died and he had a daughter named Dorothy Hemeyer. I am wondering if this is Dorothy. Dorothy grew up and married a man named Propst or Probst I think his first name was Adolph. They had a daughter who is married to a Schneider and they built a houe in the Honey creek area. She might be able to tell someone if this is her mom.
Mahlon says the man on the left might be Uncle Herbert instead of Adolph and the one in the hat might be Grandpa Edwin mothers dad
Mom always said he only was without a beard once in his lifetime and when he came in the house the kids all went and hid.
Cleo, I can remember when Dorothy and Clarence Propst got married. That would make her younger then Elizabeth. Maybe this is one of Aunt Julie’s girls. They helped and worked for Mother a lot when they still lived at the first place. She is a pretty girl who ever she is.
I thought grandma was the lady sitting in front of grandpa. The person (I thought it was a man) is holding a child… is that grandma? I thing the lady in front of grandpa has facial shape similar to Aunt Naomi. Then there is the girl sitting in front of Mathias that is the one who you are guessing who it is? And I think Mathias looks like Uncle Mahlon! ( Or visa versa)!

The girl in front of the hat reminds me of Debbie and Mellisa. Is she related? Probably is.
