The vegetables have become dangerous at the old home stead……
Aunt Jane went out Monday morning to pick some radishes from her hot house on the side of her house and fell on the hill going down to their patio and broke her ankle. Unfortunately, she did not have her phone on her, and had to crawl back up the hill, onto the deck, then all the way to the door before Uncle Lloyd realized something was wrong.
Since Uncle Lloyd had surgery on his foot three weeks ago, he wasn’t able to help her to the car, so Andrew came out and took mom into the hospital. He was so sweet and stayed with her all day while she waited to be seen and then took her home. She has one break and one fracture in her ankle.
On Friday, she will have surgery to repair her ankle, probably have pins put in.
Dad said yesterday, that if you are going to get laid up, it’s a good idea to do it while the fridge is stocked. So at least all the extra food from his 70th birthday party will not go to waste!
Please pray for Aunt Jane on Friday as she undergoes surgery and pray that she is back on her feet soon!
