I remember a game we played called hide the kid. We would hide one of the kids somewhere in the room and the other kids had to find him or her. We played a game where we all sat around the kitchen table with a paper and pencil and drew the person opposite of you.

I guess that was when Mahlon put me in Daddy’s overalls that he always hung behind the door to the dining room (the room next to the kitchen) and the kids never found me. I don’t remember drawing pictures of one another, but I guess we had other games to play maybe.

I remember playing Ghost in the Graveyard when we were little and running around the outside of the house. Grandma would get so mad at us for hiding in her flowers!
