Sorry about the quality of this one. I took a picture of this picture with my phone while I was at my folk’s house for Christmas. Anyone know the details of this picture? Where it was taken? When? Why everyone is dressed up?

Wow! That is a really nice photo of all the Aunts & Uncles….everyone is there and looks so nice! Mom (Aunt Jane) is wearing her maternity dress, so it has to be about ’83.
I’m pretty sure it was Mother’s 90th birthday. I remember on the video’s I took of the event that Mother had a lot of candles to blow out and Carol helped her. It was at a restaurant out on hwy 54 and Zeal Wright took the professional photos. I’ll have to look at the video to make sure it was Mother’s 90th. Someone else may know for sure.
Nice picture!!! All the children on on here and most of the spouses!
I was so lucky to have her for a grandma!
She was a hard working, humble, virtuous God fearing woman and she taught her children well. Rose Kennedy has nothing on her!!!
Reminds me of this bible verse:
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
31 Honor her for all that her hands have done,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
More likely, the guy who’s suppose to be doing stuff like that is broken. I’m moving a bunch of website to a new server, and that’s eating up a lot of time right now.

If I had to guess I would think it was in 1983. You do not see to many white heads yet. Sadly there would be 7 missing today.
