Another interesting and potentially even useful tool on the website is the time line. It’s a neat little program that allows you to easily scroll through historical events.
We don’t have a lot of information in the time line yet, so don’t think that we’re intentionally leaving anything out. If it’s not there, chances are that we either don’t know the right dates, or we just haven’t gotten to it yet. We’d like to get everyone’s birthday, anniversary and so forth added to the time line.
Instead of password protecting the whole time line, mom said that it would be okay if we didn’t display the birthdays of people who are still alive. So everyone can see some of the information on the time line, but you have to be logged in to see current birthdays. If you’d like to see all of the information, you have to log-in to the site.
If you don’t have a username, you can get one by clicking the Register button that is near the bottom of the Sidebar on the right hand side of the screen. You’ll have to answer some questions, and undergo a though background check (we don’t want to let in any rift-raft unless they are family), and wait until someone can look it over.
I’m sure you’ll find that some information is missing from the time line. You can use the form under the time line send in that information. In fact, you might want to check your own information once you have a username just to make sure it is correct.

I know, there’s not much information on the timeline. I thought I’d have time to add things, but with school starting it just didn’t happen. Feel free to add comments with the dates of things that should be on the timeline.
